DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE AIRPORT
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International airport, you will be met by our Wild Nomad's guide who will brief and transfer you to your lodge.

DAY 2: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Entebbe to Murchison Falls - Road transfer
Your safari guide will meet you at your hotel and start a panoramic drive to Murchison Falls National Park. We will stop over the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, where you will have a lunch break and experience rhino tracking. After this, your guide will take you to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 3: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
Today, we will have an early morning breakfast and go for a game drive in the park. Murchison falls harbours 76 mammal species and 451 bird species and is home of the world’s most powerful waterfall. You will have perfect opportunities to take as many pictures as possible. Later in the afternoon, after enjoying your lunch, you will go for an amazing boat cruise that will showcase different animal and bird species. You will also be able to hike to the top of the falls. The river Nile squeezes itself in a 7m gorge and produces a thunderous roar before it plunges into the devil’s cauldron.

DAY 4 - KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Murchison Falls to Kibale - Road transfer
We shall have breakfast at the lodge and later transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. On the way, we will have a stopover at the town of Fort Portal for lunch; thereafter we will proceed to Kibale to your lodge. Kibale Forest has got the highest concentration of primates than any other park in Africa, and is home to Man’s closest relatives: the Chimpanzees. DAY 5 - CHIMPANZEE TRACKING EXPERIENCE
After your breakfast, we will transfer you to the Kanyanchu tourist center for a briefing and orientation by the rangers before setting off for the chimpanzee tracking experience. You will thereafter set off into the forest to track the chimpanzees. During the chimp tracking experience, other different primate and bird species may be encountered.
After lunch, we shall proceed to the Bigodi wetlands sanctuary, which is a fascinating area, located in Magombe swamp. This area is recognized for a extensive array of biodiversity among which are several primates species like the red colobus monkey, black & white colobus monkey, mangabey, vervet monkey, red tailed monkey and the L’Hoest monkey. This swamp also supports more than 200 species of birds, among which is the most well-known bird – Great Blue Turaco.

DAY 6: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Kibale to Queen Elizabeth Park - Road transfer
After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth into the medley of wonders, arriving in time for your lunch and spending time while exploring the crater explosions. After lunch, you will enjoy an evening game viewing drive in the park.

DAY 7: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE AT QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Today, we will have early morning breakfast and depart for a game drive. This park is blessed with an abundance of different animal and bird species that may be encountered here during the game drives. Later in the afternoon, you will have lunch at the lodge and proceed for a cruise at the Kazinga channel. At the confort of your seat on the boat, you will observe different animal and bird species. The park harbors almost 100 species including leopards, buffalos, hippos, spotted hyena, lions, and many others. There are also over 606 different species of birds, iincluding the rare black-rumped buttonquail, the martial eagle, African skimmer, and Verreaux’s eagle owl to mention a few.

DAY 8: ISHASHA SECTOR | TREE CLIMBING LIONS
Queen Elizabeth Park to Ishasha section - Road transfer
This morning, after your breakfast, we will transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This sector is home to famous tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival, you will check-in at Ishasha wilderness camp for lunch and afternoon relaxation. Later in the evening, you will have a sunset game drive in the park where you will encounter tree-climbing lions as well as other different animal species such as elephants, buffalos, Ugandan kobs and different bird species.

DAY 9: MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK
Ishasha section to Mgahinga National Park - Road transfer
On this day, we shall have breakfast and transfer to the home of the rare mountain Gorillas, Mgahinga National Park. You will arrive to your lodge in the evening for a relaxation drink before your gorilla trek the following day.

DAY 10: FULL DAY GORILLA TRACKING EXPERIENCE | MGAHINGA GORILLA NATIONAL PARK
Mgahinga National Park is Uganda’s smallest national park and it harbors the mountain gorillas. After an early morning breakfast, we will head to the park's headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing, orientation, and meeting with the guides. You will then be partitioned into groups depending on which gorilla family has been assigned to you. The ranger guides will lead you through the gorilla paths in the Mgahinga forests searching for gorillas. Once gorillas are tracked you will be given 1 hour of interaction and taking photos. After the tracking, and depending on time, you may take a walk to visit the native Batwa community and have cultural entertainment. After this, you will head back to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

DAY 11: ANOTHER GORILLA TRACKING DAY AT BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK.
We will have breakfast, then head to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing, orientation, and meeting the guides, you will then be separated into groups depending on which gorilla family has given. The Bwindi Forest harbors the biggest number of mountain gorillas. It's everyone’s dream to see the great apes in their natural home. You will get back to the park headquarters for your certificates and transfer them to your lodge.

DAY 12: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Mgahinga National Park to Lake Mburo - Road transfer
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Mburo National Park. On arrival, you will do a game drive in the evening in which you may see various animals such as oribis, zebras, buffalos, topis elands, and impalas among several others. Lake Mburo National Park is located in Western Uganda, it is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks.

DAY 13: TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE WITH AN EN-ROUTE GAME DRIVE
Lake Mburo to Entebbe - Road transfer
Early this morning, we will do a game drive in the park and then we head back to the lodge for breakfast. After which we will drive back to Kampala. We will have lunch en-route at Uganda Equator and have some photo moments and embark on your journey back home.

Where there are overland sectors, the 4x4 Safari Vehicles and safari guide will be for the clients’ exclusive use which provides great flexibility. The guide will accompany clients on all overland sectors, assist with check-in at the accommodation and share his knowledge on the flora and fauna of Uganda | Kenya | Rwanda | Tanzania

Gorilla & Chimpanzee tracking is subject to the availability of permits, which are limited to 8 per gorilla group per day and 6 per chimpanzee track per ½ day.

Any Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits required need to be paid for upfront when booking. As soon as funds clear in our account, we will go ahead and purchase.

Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits cannot be held with the Uganda Wildlife Authority in advance of payment and Rwanda Development Board – they are only secured once physically paid for.

Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits are always 100% non-transferable and non-refundable.

There is a minimum age limit for gorilla tracking which is strictly 15 years.

Tariffs quoted are valid for 2023 wherever possible. Not all service providers release or guarantee their rates well in advance and therefore the itinerary cost is subject to increase. Many factors may increase the cost of an expedition and Wild Nomads Expeditions is not liable to cover such increases. Factors influencing cost increases include, but are not limited to, vendors price increases (including gorilla permits and park/conservation fees), government tax increases and statements, fuel increases, itinerary amendments, availability restrictions, etc. We will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible and assure you that we will do all we can to prevent or limit any increases.
East Africa (Uganda. Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania) is a developing region, and whilst Wild Nomads Expeditions endeavors to make the itinerary as accurate as possible, it should be considered as an approximate agenda of activities rather than a rigid schedule. Trip itineraries are subject to revision due to weather, trail conditions, government and local restrictions, wildlife movement, and other reasons beyond our control. In addition, frequent reconnaissance of routes sometimes determines a better routing. We do our best to ascertain the most scenic and convenient route possible throughout our client’s safari with us.
