
Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment

To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required.

The balance of the tour cost must be paid no later than 60 days prior to departure.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card. Wild Nomads reserves the right to charge a processing fee for credit card payments.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation by the client must be made in writing and will be subject to cancellation fees as follows:

Cancellation more than 60 days prior to departure: loss of deposit

Cancellation 60-30 days prior to departure: 50% of total tour cost

Cancellation less than 30 days prior to departure: 100% of total tour cost

If Wild Nomads cancels a tour for any reason, a full refund of all payments made will be given.

No refund will be given for any unused portion of a tour.
3. Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond their control.

We will make every effort to keep clients informed of any changes to the itinerary as soon as possible.

If Wild Nomads is forced to change the itinerary significantly, the client may be entitled to a refund of the portion of the tour cost that relates to the unused portion of the tour.
4. Health and Safety

Wild Nomads takes the health and safety of clients very seriously and will take all reasonable steps to ensure their wellbeing.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are fit and healthy enough to participate in the tour activities.

Clients must follow all instructions given by tWild Nomads or their representatives in relation to health and safety.
5. Travel Insurance

To participate in our tours, clients must have a comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of their trip.

The insurance must cover cancellation curtailment, interruption insurance, medical and emergency expenses (including repatriation), personal accident, injury, and death. In addition, you should be insured against loss / damage to baggage, camera equipment, personal possessions and flight delays and cancelations for any reason.

The Wild Nomads will not be responsible for any costs or losses incurred by clients that could have been covered by travel insurance.
6. Liability

Wild Nomads will not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss (including loss of enjoyment), damage, expense, cost or other claim of any description whatsoever arising from:

the act or omission of any person other than Wild Nomads or its employees;
-
any event or circumstance beyond the control of Wild Nomads; or
-
any act or omission of the client.

Wild Nomads' liability for any other claim, including negligence, is limited to the amount paid by the client for the tour.

We give notice that we act only as the agents for the owners, contractors and suppliers providing means of transportation and/or all other related travel services and assume no responsibility howsoever caused for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from: acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well-being of the passengers.

In case of a medical problem arising during the expedition, which results in costs for evacuation, use of aircraft or repatriation, the responsibility for payment of these costs belongs solely to the passenger. We strongly advise that participants ensure that such eventualities are covered by travel insurance. If not covered by travel insurance the responsibility still remains with the passenger and we specifically decline any responsibility whatsoever.
7. Complaints

Any complaints should be brought to the attention of Wild Nomads as soon as possible.

Wild Nomads will make every effort to resolve complaints in a fair and timely manner.

8. Entire Agreement
​

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and Wild Nomads and supersede all previous agreements, understandings and representations.
